Welcome to the pages of our
department, part of the Faculty
of Mathematics and Physics of Charles
University in Prague. Since 1990 our department
exists as independent entity, providing training of students
in B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. study programs.
In addition to
training of experts in the field of atmospheric physics, the
department contributes significantly to the weather and climate
research (not only) in the Czech Republic.
Our staff currently consists
of 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 2 assistant professors
and 3 external workers, assisted by 8 Ph.D. students.
